Overview

The cannabis industry is experiencing rapid growth as legalization moves forward. Retailers entering the market are battling against a solid black-market, intimidating tech-stacks, and barriers to scaling their businesses. At the same time, these retailers are time-strapped with growing their business while maintaining compliance across every single piece of their business.

Verda Innovations gives these retailers the ability to check compliant eCommerce, Delivery solution, and ordering portal off of their to-do list. Verda’s marketplace also allows retailers to increase their marketing power and further customize their existing product menus.

For consumers, Verda makes shopping for legal, local cannabis as easy as possible. Verda lists licensed retailers only. Customers can also shop across many stores with one account, reorder past items within a few clicks, and track their past purchases.

ROLE & Process

I joined a small but mighty start-up team during the launch of their first scalable product. They had gotten to the MVP (and exceeded it in my opinion), and I was brought in to bring consistency to our releases and focus our priorities to; ensure we hit our goals for launching in new markets, expand our product offerings, and increase profitability.
